Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick agreed to appear before the House Oversight Committee amid its investigation into the Jeffrey Epstein files after facing public pressure from both Democrat and Republican lawmakers. House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) announced Lutnick’s cooperation on X. "Secretary Lutnick has proactively agreed to appear voluntarily before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform," Comer wrote. "I commend his demonstrated commitment to transparency and appreciate his willingness to engage with the Committee. I look forward to his testimony." The announcement comes amid Rep.
