La Mer is Dubai's unique beach, shopping, and dining destination. We started off our tour of La Mer by visiting the beach. La Mer has a South Beach and a North Beach. The first beach we visited was the North Beach. At the beach, there is something for everyone to enjoy. You can rent a cabana or sun bed from Sea Breeze. Watersports by First Yacht also rents water based activities. They have jet skis, kayaks, paddle boats, and much more. A short walk from the beach is a play area for kids. Also along the boardwalk, there is also a mini carnival with a carousel and games. There are also shops, cafes, a cinema, and Laguna Waterpark. We had so many restaurants to choose from for dinner. We decided to go to O'Doner for chicken doners. The outdoor seating was really nice because it overlooks the Dubai skyline and beach. After dinner, we made our way to Selfie Time Coffee and Juice. They specialize in printing selfies on the top of coffees and juices. Right across the street from Selfie Time is The Inventing Room. It's a desert bar that uses liquid nitrogen to freeze ice cream and other treats. We ordered frozen Cheetos.
