Instructions: 1. remove the stem and any stringy fibers, then open the pod and gently push the peas out with your hands (only the ones whose pod is dirty) 2. Cook the peas without the pods: In a pot, bring enough water to a boil. Add the peas with pods and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes. 3. Add spices: Add salt , red chilli powder, sugar, Cook stirring constantly, until fragrant. 4. Add tamarind: Add the tamarind pulp in the cooked peas. Season with chaat masala to taste. 5. Simmer: Simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the flavors are well combined. 6. Garnish and serve: Garnish with chopped cilantro (optional) and serve hot. Tips: • You can adjust the amount of tamarind pulp to your taste.
