2025 knitting round up | My first year of knitting | 26 finished knits, try ons, costs & yarn

Happy new year everyone! In todays video I am sharing everything I knit in 2025 – my first year of knitting (or 10 months if we are being pedantic!) I share everything chronologically and reflect on the skills I learnt and developed as the year progressed. Plus I try everything on and share what it cost me. I’ve also totalled up the metres, grams and number of skeins used in 2025 and my grand total yarn and patterns cost – any guesses before you watch? I have 26 finished objects, including 9 sweaters, 1 cardigan, 4 summer tops, 4 kids knits, and 8 accessories so I fly through them so we aren’t all here forever. But as always, details of patterns, modifications, thoughts, yarn, meterage, needles and costs are all on my ravelry pages I have also flagged my favourite knit of 2025 and would love if you shared your favourite knit of the year with us in the comments! It is crazy to think that before March 2025 I had never picked up a pair of knitting needles!
