Welcome to Cortina d’Ampezzo’s Tofana Ski Area, a world-class destination in the Italian Alps. Spotlight: Slope 46 – Bus de Tofana Slope 46, or Bus de Tofana, starting near 3,000 m, it winds through a gorgeous couloir before reaching the Tofana plateau from where a more gently descent follows. The Bus Tofana chairlift has a mid station after which it turns right and follows a very steep trajectory until the top station at 2828 meters. Freeride: This station also unlocks demanding freeride routes along famous natural rock arch—the “Bus”— towards Rifugio Dibona. With a vertical drop of over 1,000 m and gradients up to 45°, it’s a bucket-list adventure.
