We can organise a pick up and drop off from Dehradun on a paid basis. If it is a shared taxi, then this will be quite reasonable. Tentative travel cost Rs 500 per person; one-way from Dehradun to Devalsari on a shared basis. Registration: Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Accommodation: A total of 40 visitors can be accommodated in dormitory type accommodation at the Deodar Ecotourism and Research Centre (DERC), tents andhomestay-based accommodation in other nearby villages (Moldhar, Udalsu, etc). Attached Western toilet with the dormitory and common Western and Indian toilets exist onsite. Refund policy: For cancellations made 60 days before the event date, 90% of the advance paid will be refunded. For cancellations made 30 days before the event date, 50% of the advance will be refunded. For cancellations made thereafter, no refund will be made. If any cancellations on account of COVID restrictions, the advances paid will be rolled over for a similar event in the future. Payments to be made to How to get to Devalsari Nearest railhead: Dehradun. Devalsari is an 80 km, 3.5 hours drive from Dehradun. Road transport is the only way to get to Devalsari. Nearest airport: Jolly Grant, Dehradun, 115 km, 4 hours from Devalsari Nearest town to Devalsari: Thatyur, 13 km from Devalsari An entire taxi can be hired for Dehradun-Devalsari one-way, drop off or pick up @ Rs 2,500/-. Please advise us on the date/time/pick up point for your requirement through email. A shared taxi will be available on 3 June 2021 for Dehradun-Devalsari drop off @Rs 500 per person. Pick up/drop off point: Dehradun Railway Station. Pick up time from Dehradun: 630 am (linked to Nanda Devi Express arrival time in Dehradun). Please add this to your payment. For your return journey, shared taxis operate from Devalsari-Dehradun every morning. This can be availed on arrival at Devalsari.
