This is a playthrough of The Legend of Zelda for the NES (timestamps below). After years of being aware of the Zelda series but having barely any actual experience with it I figured I may as well put the time into finishing the first game for myself. This game's incredibly open and your mileage may vary as to whether this is a positive or negative; personally I can appreciate what they were going for, but the way in-game hints are vague to the point where they may as well not exist and it being designed in a way you essentially need a guide on your first playthrough hampers my enjoyment on the whole.
