My sister @juliannachang drops a lifetime of knowledge in an exclusive interview captured moments before she entered a portal into her new life. We will redo the interview one year from this day and see how she answers each question and see who she has become. This video will find you when you need it. In this conversation, I sit down with my sister to talk about life, purpose, and what happens when you stop trusting society’s norms and start trusting your own lived experience. From a young age, she’s always been a bit of a rebel who questioned authority, not in a loud way, but in a quiet, deeply intentional way. Instead of blindly following what she was told would bring happiness, success, or fulfillment, she chose to go out into the world and learn for herself. Through travel, meditation, yoga, gratitude, spiritual practices, and studying ancient, tribal, cultural, and historical ways of living, she began shedding old versions of herself and unlearning beliefs that no longer served her. At one point in her life, her goal was simple: create a comfortable, happy, fun existence. But over time, something shifted. She realized she was being called to something deeper. To be a giver. A provider. Someone who helps others live better, more meaningful lives. In this video, she shares one of the most powerful insights she’s learned along the way: your purpose is not something you need to search for. It began the moment you were born. Purpose isn’t hidden somewhere in a future career, relationship, or achievement. It’s always been with you. And the moment you realize that you already have everything you need, the illusion of lack starts to dissolve. So much of what we think we’re missing comes from comparison, social media, and artificial standards created by modern society. When you drop those illusions, you come home to yourself. She talks about trusting your inner knowing, honoring your unique gifts, and remembering that no one else can offer the world what you can. Your sensitivity, your creativity, your perspective, your way of loving, these are not accidents. They are your medicine. We also touch on gratitude as a daily practice, embodying love, and the possibility of a future where technology and AI support humanity rather than disconnect us, a world where people share their gifts, eat real food, live in community, and move through life with more presence, joy, and compassion. This conversation is an invitation to slow down, trust yourself, and remember who you are beneath the noise. Thank you to my sister for being so open, honest, and generous with the wisdom she’s gained through lived experience. I’m incredibly grateful to call her both my sister and my best friend. Go check out her Instagram for more of her insights, and stay tuned for whatever she creates next as she steps away from technology for a while and goes deeper into this shedding and rebirth process.
