4 Hours of 22 GT3s and 1 LMP2 | LMU - ELMS Online Team Championship - Silverstone

Here we are with round 2 of the ELMS Online Team Championship on LMU, and after coming off a learning experience race at Spa, this race went amazingly!!! Great qualifying from me for once, and I immediately got onto pace, got caught behind a merc for longer than we wanted, but we used that opportunity to save more fuel than we were originally, and then once we were able to get past, we were able to increase the pace without overly using fuel. After which, we settled into rhythm; the pace of the front two was better than ours, so we decided to focus more on third place, and the aim of the last stint was to build as big of a gap as I could for Andrew to bring the car home on the podium. Andrew drove amazingly in his stint. Drove to his pace and consistently did it!! 2nd place ended up having to fix damage (we think), so fell down the order, so now we were in contention for 2nd, but the pace of the BMW was better than yours in this final stint, so we again settled for our orginially aim for 3rd. Scare in the final stint after we had a spin during these last 2 stints, the 36 Porsche caught up to us, so the last 5 minutes were tough!!! I noticed after the overtake that they were low on virutal energy and if the LMP2 didn't overtake us, they would run out of VE & fuel, so I told Andrew to hold and the position will come back to us, and 40 odd seconds from the end of the race, they run out of fuel, and we were able to come home in 3rd for our first podium on Le Mans Ultimate.
