If you're considering studying in Breda, it's advised to start looking for accommodation early, as it can be challenging to find a room in the city. Breda is known as a student city in the Netherlands, and you'll come across many fellow students on the streets. The city is also friendly towards international students, as English is widely spoken here. Regarding student life, Okan personally doesn't participate in the stereotypical activities like going to clubs and parties. Instead, they enjoy spending time with friends from their school. They hang out at places like the Blue House clubs, which are communities outside of the study programme where students from the entire campus can join. These clubs provide opportunities to meet new people, have fun, and enhance social experiences. During the first year, Okan frequently visited the Boarding Club, where they played board games and got to know other students. Additionally, the DMD Club, a large community of people with similar interests, offered a lot of enjoyment. There are various other clubs available, such as the cooking club, band jam, and general club, catering to different interests and providing additional opportunities for students to engage in fun activities and meet like-minded individuals.
