We heard that the red salmon numbers were good in Seward so we headed that way to make our first attempt at salmon fishing. Lucky for us we were reasonably successful and had plenty of time to explore the nearby areas as well. Seward, much like Valdez, is surrounded by snow capped mountains and absolutely beautiful.
