Infants are a life stage included in The Sims 4 base game. While the Growing Together expansion pack adds a lot to this life stage, there is still plenty of things you can do with them in the base game. You can get an Infant in your game by ageing up a Newborn, adopting and Infant, or by creating one in Create-a-Sim. Infants are a fully controllable life stage.
