It's not passion, not empathy. Not love, not fear... it's forgetting... by far. Like a stone you throw into a lake. Only seconds pass and the small waves it formed are gone. Gone forever... There was a mill here for 100s of years. A pretty massive building was the basis for a well-run household. As time passed not only did the world change, the people changed as well. July 1919... Sophie Moser, the owner of this house, was standing in front of it. Suddenly a loud bang... her body was found laying there motionless. I found her name in the archives. As the reason for her death the words "death by shooting" were written down... but why? No one knows... the attackers were never found. All we know is that the house was left to mother nature. Only a few decades later the building was in ruins. No signs of a tragedy in the past left. Just stones in the thicket... Our best ability? Yes... do you get what I mean? We could all find ourselves with that same fate and only years later noone would even remember we even existed. It's a haunting thought... that's why I intentionally gave you the name of her. At least these two words are still left and now many people have the chance to at least not forget her name. We people of the future have this duty because the people of the past deserve it... but it was just an idea... I'm just a walker...
