Born out of a conversation I had with Jim McCarthy of, "what if we tried documenting a week in the life of a working Nashville musician?", Working the Dream captures a small snapshot of Rich's life back in 2010 when Jason Aldean was coming off one of his strongest hits, "She's Country". From coming home off of a leg of playing live in front of almost 100,000 fans with Jason Aldean, then getting into the daily grind of working in some of Nashville's signature studios, doing showcase events and handling life in general, this documentary lets you in on what it takes to make your way in one of the most difficult, high failure rate industries in the world. This kind of grind is still a familiar one for Rich. His firm belief in seeing himself as a business drives him to network, ask for referrals and apply the CRASH! dimensions every day.
