The brand-new Specialized Levo R is here… and this thing is fast, agile, low, light — and an absolute rocket ship 🚀 In this review, I take a deep dive into the new Specialized Levo R short-travel 29er after riding it in the beautiful Arenas de San Pedro. We cover everything from specs, geometry, suspension, motor performance, range, climbing, descending, and who this bike is really for — plus how it compares to the Levo Gen 4. As always, this is a proper in-depth review, and there are timestamps in the timeline so you can jump straight to the sections you want. It shines on fast flow trails, singletrack and jumps, climbs brilliantly, and feels super connected to the trail thanks to its low-slung feel and short-travel setup. It’s not the bike I’d choose for full bike park / gravity-focused DH days, but for riders who want a lively, dynamic e-bike that rewards good technique — this thing is seriously impressive. Levo R model pricing Levo R Comp — €7,999 Levo R Expert — €9,999 Levo R S-Works — €13,999 Sizing (my fit reference) I’m 183cm and rode an S4 (roughly a Large), which felt spot on for me.
