Building A C-47 To Give Away. Airfix 1/72. Full Build.

Full build step by step of Airfix's 1/72 scale C-47 Skytrain. I completed this model airplane as a gift to give my uncle this past Christmas. His father jumped from a C-47 into Holland with the 82nd Airborne during Operation Market-Garden. His dad survived the war and they remained very close until his dad's passing. With 2024 being the 80th anniversary of the operation, I could think of no better time to complete this project so he can be reminded of his dad each time he looks at it. A special thank you to Paul Dunham of Oregon for sending me missing parts to make this model happen. Without his generosity I would not have been able to complete this on time.
