The first edition of Indy Dream Match-Ups features Tyler Black/Seth Rollins taking on "Prime Time" Elix Skipper. Elix retired in 2009 and his last match was against Tyler Black/Seth Rollins for No Limits Wrestling. The history and modern day accomplishments of Tyler Black/Seth Rollins are heavily featured every Monday night, but his opponent has a different story. "Prime Time" Elix Skipper first appeared to the wrestling world in WCW as a product of their training camp, the Power Plant. Skipper began wrestling on WCW's B-shows as part of the cruiserweight division and would eventually align himself with Lance Storm and became part of Team Canada where he was gifted the WCW Cruiserweight Championship by Lance which was rechristened the "100 Kilos and Under" Championship. Elix eventually found himself in a tag team with Kid Romeo where they became the first-ever WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions in 2001. His contract was absorbed in the WWF buyout in March 2001 and Elix was eventually sent to Cincinnati to wrestle for HWA which was a developmental territory for WWF at the time. Elix's time under the WWF umbrella came to an end in December 2001 and he would work some local indies in 2002 as well as early NWA-TNA before heading to All Japan as "Extreme Blade" under a mask. He eventually returned to NWA-TNA and would form Triple X with Low-Ki and Christopher Daniels in 2003. One of the highlights of his TNA career was doing the cage walk as he walked the six sides of steel and performed a hurricanrana on Chris Harris. From 2003-2008, Elix Skipper would find himself working for various indies around the country in addition to NWA-TNA and All Japan. His later role in TNA was not a prominent as his earlier career and he was regulated mainly to tag team matches on house shows and Xplosion. Elix Skipper's talent inside the ring was unrivaled and his character outside the ring made him likeable by all of his peers. He is without a doubt one of the most underrated wrestlers in the last 30 years. In April 2009, one of Elix's life would drastically change as one of sons was murdered in his home. It was after this that he decided to retire from wrestling to take care of his family.
