Honestly really cool to see these lunatics return properly in this story expansion. I predicted we’d see something of them in this DLC and I’m happy to have been right about that. Wish we got to see a little more of them (mages and a Rasetsu/Gyuki mini boss would’ve been nice) but I’m happy with what’s here. This DLC is way tougher than anything in the base game, even on normal. This clip is from my Master Ninja run and it’s very reminiscent of NGII in the sheer absurdity of it all. There were a few references to previous titles all throughout this expansion, and I’m like 50% sure this bridge is supposed to be a nod to the infamous staircase from NGII, as there was just no end to them here lol. Looks like this is probably it for Ninja Gaiden for a while (I hope I’m wrong, but we’ll see) and while I do have a few minor gripes with this DLC, I’m mostly satisfied and just glad we got something
