UPDATED GAMEPLAY:    • はしってあそぼう! きかんしゃトーマス Gameplay   Here's gameplay footage for はしってあそぼう！きかんしゃトーマス. a PC/Macintosh/Pippin game released exclusively in Japan in 1996 and was later re-released in the early 2000's. I don't own a physical copy of the game. This was played using an .ISO on a Windows XP Virtual Machine. Kudos goes to Thomas_Blue for the ISO. You'll have to excuse the cursor jumping from place to place here and there. the load times with some of the activities are ridiculous. IDK if its because I'm playing it on Windows XP on my VM, but I couldn't find any other work-around for them, so I'm sorry about that. :L The game itself is fine. I won't give it too much slack seeing as it's the first Thomas computer game in Japan, but what we have here just feels a bit lackluster. Only a few activities here and there, some of which are variants you can find at other stations. The matching game's kinda fun though. It's fun seeing which of the Season 4 newbies (at the time) you'll get when you match a pair each time. The other Season 4 characters are in the matching game (Minus Class 40, Caroline and Bulstrode) It's random everytime, though I don't know why certain characters repeated from time to time The quiz's are a bit hard since my knowledge on Japanese is a bit limited, so you'll have to excuse why I got alot of the questions wrong. :P The Crane game at Wellsworth is def. something you have to time perfectly. It's not like other Edutainment games where accuracy isn't everything. Magical Adventure def. does a better job in comparison since it was released 2 years later. Plus it used unique cutscenes using the show's models. And it had more activities to play here and there. はしってあそぼう！きかんしゃトーマス Isn't bad. It's just that the newer Thomas games do a better job with the content, especially if we're talking about the console games. I guess it wouldn't hurt to at least play it once.
