ASI Arupa Nanda Das of Bada Gaon Police Station in Sundargarh was arrested by the Rourkela Vigilance team while allegedly accepting ₹25,000 from Ranjan Das to allow an illegal liquor business. The deal was reportedly taking place at a pan shop near Bada Gaon bus stand when the vigilance team conducted a surprise raid. Officials seized the bribe money and immediately arrested the ASI.
