SOLD This classic vessel is absolutely mint for her age! Welcome to your gorgeously refurbished 1971 Bertram 31'! Her classic and elegant lines are sure to catch a classic sport-fisher enthusiasts eye! Her hull is original, but she received a total rebuild in 2000, including brand new Cummins 5.9L diesels, by Worton Creek Marina. Workmanship and attention to detail on this vessel is flawless, and the equipment was the best that money could buy. The refit was done by John Patnovic who has specialized in major refits on Bertram 31's. The work was impressive that it became the cover story for the December 2000 edition of Chesapeake Bay Magazine. A clever feature is the way the helm seat is made. The back is made of the same Corian as the galley countertop. It is hinged at the bottom, so that the seat back can be folded down to become an extension for the galley countertop. This can be seen in the accompanying photos.
