Ray Comfort's teaching is very subtle works salvation known as Lordship Salvation which requires a person to "clean up their act " turn from their sins before God will save them. Christians turn from sin FOLLOWING salvation. He confuses justification with sanctification . His teaching denies the Priesthood of Jesus Christ and he uses Old Testament scriptures pertaining to the Mosaic Law in reference to the New Covenant which is totally heretical. hIS TEACHING IS VERY DANGEROUS AS IT SOUNDS RIGHT TO THE UNDISCERNING. I was in fellowship at a sound Bible believing Church and the entire congregation fell for it. Those who protested with Scripture were marginalised and ignored eventually leading to them leaving.
