DECLUTTER MY PERFUME | TheTopNote

Last video I showed you what perfumes I couldn't say no to in January 2021. Consequently, in my effort to slow down my buying, in order to be able to say "yes" to the new bottles, I had to choose which ones I would be saying goodbye to. I did buy A LOT of perfume last year, and whilst I didn't have to go into debt to do that, I did dip into some of my savings. Consequently, I could argue that it wasn't simply spare cash I had lying around. Also, as someone who worked very hard a few years ago to whittle not only my perfume collection down to the bare basics, but also do the same in ALL areas of my life, I got to the end of 2020 feeling a little disappointed with myself that I had slipped back into some old bad shopping habits. This year is not about not buying anything, but I definitely want to reign in my spending habits and make sure that my purchases are all very well considered. I think having to decide what needs to go in order to make room for the new, will definitely help to slow down the purchasing process. This month, the choices were relatively easy, but I can see as the year goes on it will be harder, and I hopefully will think twice about.that incessant purchasing. There IS one other bottle I am dying to get hold of but I managed to score a 10ml decant from a lovely soul recently so I don't have to rush the purchase, thankfully.
