Daria .. The City that missed the sun.. Daria is a Syrian city located in Damascus western's Ghouta and is currently inhabited by nearly 12,000 citizens living in basements and trenches and can not see the sun due to the intensity of the bombing. Al-Asad regime has tried several times to break their will through many military campaigns. The regime committed a massacre on August 25 2012 that claimed the lives of (722) martyrs and then the regime launched his military campaign on the sieged city and bombed it by various types of weapons. Despite all of this, Al-Asad regime is still unable to enter the besieged city! (Barrels of death) is one of the worst weapons that the regime has been using against the people of the city. It is homemade barrels that contain large amounts of explosive materials carried by several types of aircrafts and thrown on top of civilain houses making Daria ranked first among other cities in terms of the number of barrels being received. The number of the barrels thrown over the city has increased in the recent months up to 70 barrels per day to kill in its way hundreds of civilian and innocent souls. The number of the barrels thrown over the city during the month of December 2015 reached "933" barrels. The total number of the barrels from the beginning of the military campaign until today reached more than 5,500 barrels in addition to the hundreds of rockets and missiles launched daily on civilians. The barrel's weight is either 250 kg or 500 kg, which means that Daria was bombarded by more than 1,300 tons of explosive materials.
