The case was referred for management of perforation irt to right maxillary central incisor. After temporary cement was removed, pus oozing was seen. The granulation tissue was grown through the perforation. Phase 1 - Location of the canal The canal was located with ET25 ultrasonic tip below the cingulum. Often the mistake is done of locating it on the buccal part which leads to perforation. The canal was located and confirmed with a radiograph. Phase 2 - sealing the perforation The perforation was sealed with MTA. The new MTA from Angelus has a setting time of 15 minutes. Phase 3-shaping and irrigation Following this the canal was shaped with Endostar till size 25/04. Activated irrigation was done with liquid EDTA and 5% sodium hypochlorite. the tooth was temporized. Phase 4 - Obturation with core After a 2 weeks recall the symptoms had subsided. The tooth was obturated using a squirt technique. Luxacore was used for core filling. Want to learn endo.
