I saw the new HTTYD yesterday and it was AMAZING!!! (First of all, if you haven’t seen the animated, watch that first because I swear it is art). I thought the casting was amazing, hiccup was so so incredibly casted, he really embodied hiccup from the animated film. I did at first think that hiccup was an adult actor playing a teenager and then I found out he was actually 16 during filming, he is just so talented and his acting was so precise! SNOTLOUT WAS SOOO FUNNY, he was absolutely perfect. Hiccup’s dad was great, Astrid was great, Gobber was great. My favourite thing they did was keep the scenes very close to the animation, shot at the same angles. Even during the training scenes, seeing from the dragon’s perspective when it goes off balance from the noise. That’s what live action should be, no offence to Disney but their live actions have kinda sucked, they need to take notes. OMG the jokes as well “the village could use a little less feeding, don’t ya think?” I’m so glad they kept it in.Don’t even get me started on toothless, SO cute. I’m happy they did the OG justice. Honestly, I don’t really think live action films are needed, I actually really hate them, but I’m happy that it was so faithful. My expectations for live actions are in the gutter so I’m just super happy they got this one right. On another note, my figure skates are totally broken. ;_; I currently have edea ice fly, I’ve had them for almost 4 years, the life span is around 1-1.5 years. I always skate in boots for longer than I should because they’re so pricey, but I’ve really overdone it. The tongue is squishy, I have creases at the ankle points on ICE FLY LOL!! These are meant to be some of the stiffest boots and I can’t believe I’ve creased them, they’re not even leather. I’m going to upgrade to edea pianos, I love ice flies but I do them so tight it almost suffocates my foot and gives me cramps when you’re not meant to tie them like that, so I’m hoping the pianos give me the stiffness I need. I just need to wait until they’re back in stock, I seriously hope my skates last. They look so bad, I’ll show you guys in a video when I get my new boots, the comparison is gonna be insane. Anyway, I have been doing double axels in the harness lately and it feels amazing! I think I’m slowly fixing the technique, my biggest focus needs to be my leg wrap and hips. I basically got the full double axel rotation on a triple toe loop (2.5 rotations), so I just need to focus and fix my technique. I had my first driving lesson yesterday, I have driven before but I couldn’t continue my lessons because it was an awkward time and I couldn’t get a test. Anyway, I was so scared driving off, my driving instructor literally made me drive right off the bat, I was terrified of crashing and had to quickly memorise the gearstick. I messed up only once and put it into 3rd instead of 1st gear, but besides that it was okay! I had to do roundabouts, dual carriageways and everything, I was honestly so scared LOL, but I got super used to it and kinda enjoyed it by the end. I just need to get used to breaking, clutch down, stopping in first gear, bite point, revving, agh, so much to remember in a short amount of time whilst also having to watch for cars going around the roundabout. Yeah anyway, super long description woopsie haha :') ♫♪♬ songs I currently really like: ˚ · . breakaway - avril lavigne forgotten - avril lavigne runaway - avril lavigne hot - avril lavigne -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ✧・゚: *✧・゚𓆩♡𓆪 * ✧・゚: *✧ ----------------------------- my equipment ⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚˚୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆ blue yeti tascam dr-40 tascam dr-05x sr3d binaural pro XLR sr3d binaural tube USB headrec binal 2 cs10-em ✧・゚: *✧・゚𓆩♡𓆪 * ✧・゚: *✧ ೃ⁀➷ affilliate link for SR3D (my favourite mics!) use code “ASTRAASMR” for 10% off: https://sr3d.co.uk/?ref=ASTRAASMR ೃ⁀➷ business enquiries or other: [email protected] ೃ⁀➷ my patreon: https://www.patreon.com/user?u=81465137
