Today begins the "sharing our journey" series . . . 12 vlogs, on 12 topics, related to off grid permaculture homesteading. In this vlog, we share where we're at with fruit production, some of our greatest lessons learned over the past 3 years, and some of our goals for future fruit production on our homestead. Here are some of the highlights of our learning so far: Plant more than you need and grow what grows naturally in your area. Simplify guilds using 3 things: 1) Comfrey and/or nitrogen fixing support plant. 2) Flower bulbs around base of trees. 3) Wood chips (on flat ground) or low to ground cover to help control weeds. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to our channel and thank you for taking the time to watch our vlog.
