Superflower Leadex Platinum 2000W Power Supply - Unboxing & Overview

It was finally time to get back to OC after a little break. I decided to order the Super Flower 2kW power supply to fix improve my power supply configuration for high end card setups like the 2080ti. The power supply is a very large unit and weighs around 3kg. It is ready out of the box for multi-gpu configurations and has a massive 166A single 12V rail, which is needed in our case as we want the most stable and fool proof 12V rail. And the unit does not have any too tight over-current protections like the Corsair HX1200i 40A limit per connector, which is not suitable for my kind of use. The power supply was not cheap, it cost me 380 euros with shipping here in Finland, but the high-end large units are never really cheap. I will be using the 2kW Leadex in parallel with the Seasonic Prime 1300W. Sadly even this 2kW monster does not feature more CPU power connection than just two 4+4 pins, as those 28 Xeon motherboards often have up to 4 8-pin connectors.
