Instead you have several beautiful pieces by: Ravel: Miroirs - Jeux d'Eau - Several tracks Chopin: Nocturnes Op. 9 (I do not own the rights to this music) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello all, I thought it was about time you had a new stately home from me. This project began in May, whilst I was watching 'The Diplomat', and I have worked on it whenever I have had a free moment. It has been my most ambitious project to date, but really enjoyable! The build is based on Wrotham Park in Hertfordshire, a neo-Palladian country house that you have probably seen in many TV shows and films over the years. The most famous film that the house featured in, as its own character really, was Gosford Park in 2001. This was a 'whodunit' movie, depicting the upstairs and downstairs goings on of an English country house party in the 1930's. I always loved that film, and the house of course! In fact, Bruern Abbey, one of my previous builds was also loosely based on Wrotham. So, whilst the outside bares similarity to Wrotham, as well as the entrance hall, saloon, drawing room, dining room, and one of the staircases - the rest is entirely imagined. The real library at Wrotham is beautiful, but I wanted a showstopper, so built a double library! The house is full of treasure, heirlooms, art, sculpture - All thanks to the usual group of exceptional custom content creators. I don't think I use much Maxis own in any of my builds, so I thank them. Without their work, none of my builds would be possible. In particular thanks to: FelixandreSims HeyHarrie TheJim07 AnachroSims AggressiveKitty StorytellerSims Hydrangea GoldenSanctuarySims LilisPalace There are so many more, I can't possibly name them all. In this video, you meet Lady Marina D’Lyall, Countess of Wrexham too. I thought i'd have a bit of fun with this video, so it looked like someone lived in the house! If you want to buy it, you'll need over £6m, and the bills are a staggering £250k (per week?!), so let's hope you have deep pockets, and a healthy inheritance, or you might have to start selling the priceless heirlooms to keep the lights on, like an eccentric old peer! I hope you enjoy! Please follow me on Instagram, where I post regular updates on any ongoing projects. See you again soon! Nad
