Today on the Monster Hobbies Model Car Garage we will be looking at The Revell 1932 Ford 5 Window Coupe 2' n 1 Devil's Deuce Model Car. This is an unboxing video I hope you will enjoy. Various 1/25 scale versions of the 1932 Ford model kit have been produced by AMT, Monogram, MPC, and Revell over the years. However, the 1932 Ford 5 Window Coupe model kit was an all new model kit from Revell in 1996 (Which was released as the 3-window coupe, but later was retooled into the 5-window coupe in 2011). The 1932 Ford 5 Window Coupe (two door windows, two quarter panel windows and a rear window) is one of the most popular subjects to become a street rod. The '32 Ford, commonly called the "Deuce", is an ideal hot rod because the original car was quite popular and had large production numbers and were readily available from the 1940's to the 1960's. Now, because of the rising demand these cars have become highly collectible and very expensive to own. The Revell 1932 Ford 5 Window Coupe 2' n 1 Devil's Deuce Model Car kit can be made as a full fendered street rod or high boy style custom with steel wheels or five-spoke mags. An optional 5.0 litre Mustang engine or custom dual carb V8 and colorful decal graphics for four different versions is also included. The 1932 Ford 5 Window Coupe 2' n 1 Devil's Deuce By Revell is made of semi-soft white plastic and has a thick box. One very nice thing about Revell kits is that the body, chrome and clear parts are all in a separate bag to keep them from being scratched by other parts. You get four options for building the kit; The later 1960's coupe with fenders and mag wheels, the 1950's era coupe with fenders and 1940 Ford steel factory wheels with hubcaps, the highboy with frame mounted headlamps and chrome drag racing fuel tank and the full drag racing "Devil's Deuce" with the signature devil's head decal which adorns the radiator grille. There are 2 choices of engines included with this kit : The Chrysler Fire Power Hemi head engine block with dual carbs and the second engine is a Ford 5-litre engine with your choice of a 4bbl Holley carburetor intake manifold and paper filter air cleaner or the 1990's Mustang 5.0 style fuel injection set-up. The Chrysler engine comes with a manual transmission molded onto it and the Mustang engine is Automatic. Front suspension has the classic Ford dropped axle, but out back is a more modern coil spring suspension with a Ford 9 inch rear end. Front radius rods come in 2 lengths, one set-up is for the coupe and the other is for the highboy. There is also a separate fuel tank that drops in on the back. The interior consists of a floor pan with back, side panels, bench seat, and your choice of a 1932 Ford dashboard or the 1940 Ford dashboard, which was a popular custom install in the 1950's. Floor pedals, floor mounted gear stick lever, steering column and your choice of 2 steering wheels finish off the interior. The body and fenders come as separate pieces so that you can build either the coupe or highboy styles. The highboy comes with rear wheel arch covers while the coupe does not require these pieces. There are 3 hood side choices : smooth, 1950's era louvers in rows, or the original 1932 Ford "long" louvered hood. The 1950's era louvers also continue on the trunk lid, or you can use the smooth trunk lid for a more classic look. 3 styles of tail lights complete the back end and you have a choice of radiator inserts - grille or smooth. Finally, the decal sheet includes many options for all the different building variants including flames, pin stripes in black or white, the Von Dutch pinstripe rabbit, instrument gauges for both dashboards, sponsor decals, drag racing and class numbers for the windows, white walls for the tires and the infamous Devil's head. Four licence plates from different time periods complete the sheet.
