Alright, Megadeth has come up on here multiple times so let’s do this! This was a down to the wire call but I was a little more amped to try Sweating Bullets since I’ve never done it. Before the praise to the band – if you want some Megadeth drum action, go to my boy Nabil Karsheh’s page. Link is / @nabilkarsheh . This man is not only a monster player but he pays tremendous respect to any song he covers. Nabil and I have touched on his love for Nick Menza. I whole heartedly agree. In the big 4, Lombardo, Lars and Benante all brought their own style to the table. Menza most certainly did as well. Nick Menza - to me - was a bit more of a groove drummer in a thrash band. Again, that’s just my take as to how I heard him. Music is meant to hit us all how it hits us. But he played the absolute right thing at the absolute right time. And he had SUCH a presence on stage. Just a monster player with massive energy and unfortunately gone far, far, far too soon. So I say with absolute sincerity – Mr. Menza is missed and contributed more than he probably knew. As always, I appreciate the ever loving shit out of you all for watching. The support means the absolute world to me and please know that I don’t just say that for the sake of saying it. I hope you all have a GREAT weekend and are safe and well. I do not own any of the rights to any music. This video is not intended to infringe any copyright laws in any way. Twitter: / tbledsoe3 I mention these two accounts but a lot of y'all seem to find me on Facebook so feel free. Knock yourself out! Some of the Gear Used: Mics Kick - Sennheiser E602 (II) Outside Kick - Shure Beta 52 Internal Mounted Kick Mic - SR20LS Earthworks Rack / Floor 1/ Floor 2 - Sennheiser 421 Overheads (primary) - AKG 314 Secondary overhead / room mics - Earthworks SR25 If you've read this far, your last name is Stewart. Actually, it may be more - the comments from this description bullshit has surprised me from a number of people. This cover won't be for everyone. I realize stick tricks and Megadeth don't go together for many. And honestly I get it. Honestly, I do shit like quarter flips to keep my forearms loose on songs with this kind of space. Anyways, so much for that. Primary Snare Mic: SM 57 (ain't broke so don't fix it) Secondary Snare Mic: Sennheiser E614 Room mics - Vary (Aston Spirit / Shure/ AKG) No more gear. Let's talk about it. SO I've got a tooth that's had a f*cking root canal that hurts. This means 1 of 2 things - (1) The tooth is broken below the gum line and (2) the root canal wasn't done right. I'm rolling with #1. The root canal was done right. But if this doesn't straighten out, it's a dental implant which is $3500 BUCKS! I get it - Dentistry is a high paying field and I actually have massive amounts of respect for those who enter that field. But that much for an implant??? You know that shit is marked up over 75%. Jeff Holden sent me a picture of a mixer used by Lilliac today that's for sale for $1200.00 and explained that it had a feature that could turn 32 faders into a 32 band EQ. That is some heavy shit. Now to me, if a mixer can turn a 32 channel fader into a 32 band EQ, it CAN serve as a tooth too. This is currently under further review as my dentist has said "How do we implant a .........what did you say?.............a Mixer?" I explained that a mixer would make a much coverage area, would allow me to chew the hell out of stuff AND eq the sound. They didn't get it. GAWD I don't wanna get a new tooth because that would SUCK (but all things considered, it lands in that "shit happens" category). This is not due to Fruity Pebbles or any other cereal. It's due to my grinding and breaking my teeth after eating sugary cereal and drinking a Mountain Dew. So hit me up on IG, Snapchat or FB. I'll share my dental insight. It's amazing. I could have been a Dentist if I'd have just finished more than a semester of community college. One of the cats killed a mouse and now she wants a medal.................UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! That's her JOB! Kill mice, eat food, get petted. Anyways, I'm done. Still searching for new binoculars. Community Feature is being used so feel FREE to chime in on cereal debates. More to come on there. We'll use it for a lot of FUN!
