A complete walking route to the well hidden Punta Grossa lighthouse in Ibiza! Punta Grossa lighthouse was designed by Emili Pou in 1847. This project was controversial because it was believed that it should be located on the islet of Tagomago. It's construction was not easy. Being located at an inaccessible point, the materials had to be transported by sea. In addition, during the work, it was discovered that these were of poor quality and had to be replaced. Finally it was inaugurated in 1870 and shortly after the error in its location was patent, reason why proceeded to the construction of the lighthouse of Tagomago. The Punta Grossa stopped working in 1916. Today it remains completely abandoned, but it is worth visiting. It is not a simple route, but it is one of great beauty. Thank you for watching!
