Hop aboard the Rail Runner Express for a scenic day trip from Albuquerque to Santa Fe, New Mexico! In this video, we take you along for the ride as we travel by train through the beautiful New Mexico landscape and spend the day exploring the art, culture, and charm of Santa Fe. From the Rail Runner experience to some must-see spots in the city, it’s the perfect quick getaway packed into just one day. Whether you're planning your own trip or just curious what it’s like, this video gives you a feel for the whole journey—no car needed! 🎟️ Rail Runner details - as we had already driven close to 4000 miles on this trip, we were excited about letting someone else take the wheel! And we loved the experience but would do one thing different which we mention at the end of the video. The afternoon 4:15 train was very busy - and getting back to the Mantano location right before 6, put us right in the middle of ALB traffic. 📍 Santa Fe highlights - we only had 5 hours in town so we tried to see as much as we could. We give you our 6 favorite spots including food and sightseeing. Plus don't forget the trolley that is free that will take you around town. This is where we learned we had overlooked two of our 6 stops for the day. ☕ Local food & coffee spots - we visited Tia Sophias (home of the breakfast burrito but unfortunately we were an hour too late for breakfast!) and Gruet Winery. 🖼️ Art, history, and street views - we visited the Cathedral, the oldest church and the oldest house in the US. Plus we were able to view some amazing art for free at the Capitol - The Roundhouse. And while we walked most of our time, we did enjoy our tour via the trolley (we timed it perfectly and were all alone so we had a private tour!)
