I tell the story of helping a small monkey keep dry, the problems some long term travelers have in Asia, those darker times when I’m a bit down, and how being witness to abject poverty is sometime difficult. After arriving in Jember I have to find a room, and the next morning I go in search of a coffee which was a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. But we do come across a great mosque, and a couple of locals stop to have a chat. I eventually find a coffee.
