Tessa (Mama’s Geeky) and Lorie are almost done with their Stranger Things binge as they watch Stranger Things Season 4 finale with Episode 8 — “Papa.” This episode is packed with emotional gut punches, major reveals, and some of the most intense Upside Down action of the entire series, and we were absolutely glued to the screen! The episode picks up as Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) confronts the truth about Dr. Brenner (Matthew Modine) once and for all. The emotional showdown between them had us both on the edge of our seats — especially when Eleven finally stands up to him in one of her most powerful moments yet. Brenner’s complicated, heartbreaking ending hit us hard. Meanwhile, the Hawkins crew — Steve (Joe Keery), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Robin (Maya Hawke), Eddie (Joseph Quinn), and Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) — prepares for their most dangerous mission ever as they take the fight directly to Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower). Their teamwork, tension, and determination make this one of the most thrilling stretches of the season. On the California side, Will (Noah Schnapp), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), and Argyle (Eduardo Franco) race against time to find Eleven, leading to major emotional moments — including Will’s heartbreaking van scene that had both of us tearing up. His confession (without confessing) was one of the standout emotional beats of the whole episode. Back in Russia, Hopper (David Harbour), Joyce (Winona Ryder), and Murray (Brett Gelman) continue their crazy adventure, fighting Demogorgons and desperately trying to return home. The creature sequences are wild, the tension is high, and the stakes have never felt bigger. “Papa” sets the stage for the final showdown with Vecna, and WOW — the finale energy is REAL. The acting, music, tension, and emotional beats all had us cheering, crying, and panicking right along with our favorite characters.
