➡️ If you want to skip the bird prey portion of the video, start at 03:37. Video opens with F23 arriving in the morning, landing on the treetop branch with vocals. M15 arrives thirty-four minutes later with a White Ibis food gift for F23. The delivery is shown on Cam3, Cam3, and the 360 Cam. F23 takes her food gift to the office oak to eat. M15 watches over from the attic, then joins F23 in the office oak a half hour later. F23 flies to the pond for sips after eating, then returns to the office oak. Shortly after, M15 flies to the pond for sips. He heads to the nest tree when a horse strolls his way. There is a short commercial break as we wait for F23 to do her thing. F23 flies in with a long trail of moss. We know she likes to grab moss when leaving the office oak area. F23 circles the nest tree/pasture with her moss, working the wind. The moss falls from her feet, and she goes to the nest. She comes in hot, running into M15. While working in the nest together, F23 gives M15 a beak nibble. F23 does a very quick nest test, then sits low over the nest. She then moves to the attic. M15 follows F23 to the attic for Morning Mating! M15 leaves first, heading E, and F23 follows. Time stamps below, if interested. The rails have been built up well during the rebuilding phase. While some grass is brought in during nest rebuilding, as egg laying gets closer, the eagles will load the nest with soft nest material (grass, moss). We have now entered the phase of nest material/grass loading, increased nest tests, and increased mating. The mating in cam view will likely increase further as egg laying gets closer. M15 and F23 also mate out of cam view. F23 laid her first egg on 11-8-24 last season, so that is the time window we will be watching for.
