Changbai Mountain is really perfect for visiting in September, the off-season, as it greatly increases the chances of seeing Tianchi. We started at Meiren Pine Park in Erdaohhe, which was very quiet, and then went to Tianchi on the North Slope of Changbai Mountain. The scenery there was absolutely breathtaking! Changbai Waterfall and the Valley Forest were also stunning—every stop felt so healing. Later, we visited Baishan City, and we were super lucky to see a double rainbow! At Old Bald Peak’s grassland, we even got to interact with cute little animals. It was so adorable! Although Baishan City isn’t very popular, the scenery is just as amazing, and it’s particularly peaceful—an ideal place for relaxation!
