Here's a little video about my recovery days 3, 4 and 5 from my lower gender confirmation surgery. My aim with this series of videos is to help reassure any trans women who have this surgery ahead of them and also to help educate everyone else on exactly what's involved in this part of my transition. It's been quite a journey, but I feel amazing and I couldn't be happier with the result. I'm looking forward to going back home tomorrow, but I will miss everyone here at Parkside Hospital in London. They are all lovely people and they have looked after me so well. They form such an incredible team. I am so lucky to have had my surgery here. Now the hard work starts, as I have 3 months of recovery, where I have to dilate 3 times every day, before it can step down to twice a day.
