Loyola College Negombo, founded in 1949 by Mr. Sebastian Vincent Laus Fonseka and Mr. J. Anthony Fonseka, has a legacy of providing quality education in Sri Lanka. From humble beginnings in cadjan sheds to its current prestigious campus, the school has grown under various administrations, including the Marist congregation and the Archdiocese of Colombo. The leadership of rectors like Rev. Fr. Leo Perera, Rev. Fr. Trevor Martin, Rev. Fr. Ranjith Andradi, and Rev. Fr. Sudath Gunetileke has seen the College expand its facilities and introduce English Medium education. Current Rector Rev. Fr. Kennady Perera continues to enhance the school’s infrastructure and educational standards.
