I’ll show you how I started in notebooks writing quotes, then began embellishing journals with ribbons & buttons, moved on to art journaling with Martha Stewart paints from Michaels, learned how to crochet off YouTube & began adding crochet & stitched elements into my journals, & then finally got a student grade 12 half pan set from Winsor & Newton that I paired with a tray of Artist Loft Shimmer colors & used only those cheap art supplies for several years.. . I hope you will see that there is a marvelous cumulative effect from slowly gathering & cultivating small achievements.. . You are building & accumulating a magnificent repertoire of knowledge & skill! Even the unfinished, uninspiring pages become a part of a successful journey! & you can start with just a few supplies, a simple notebook & a pencil even.. . Have fun!
