Auf der südholländischen Insel Goeree wurden zwischen 1942 und 1945 ca. 300 Bunker erbaut. Diese Bunker gehören alle zum sogenannten Atlantikwall, der deutschen Verteidigungslinie, die von Norwegen bis zur spanischen Grenze verläuft. Dieser Komplex ist aufgrund seiner außergewöhnlichen Bunkertypen und seiner Bauweise als einzigartig zu bezeichnen.
