🗓 Date: 8/20/22 🛤 Line: UP Austin Subdivision ✭✭✭ About time I filmed this crossing, eh? Due to its tucked-away location and the difficulty to chase trains here, I had historically pushed off filming here, but I figured it was finally time to record these classic MoPac crossing signals. I hauled ass to get here from Oltorf Street after catching a train there, and just barely made it in time. This train was pretty cool too, with a KCSM ES44AC and CN SD75I leading, along with a UP AC4400CW-CTE as a rear-DPU. Technically a "Pan-American" lashup here with three countries represented. This crossing features a pair of 1970s MoPac signals that have been modernized over time. Most of the equipment here is from Safetran, including the signal masts, gate motors, and light heads (albeit with LED inserts now).
