This song is from the album: Muensel which was recorded in 1998 and released in 1999 as part of the Silver Jubilee celebration of Muenselling Institute of Khaling. The singers are: late Jigme Norden (who passed away in the Institute on August 2, 1999), Dawa Gyaltshen, Yeshi Wangmo and Duptho Zangmo. The song describes the brief history of the Institute and how the visually impaired children of Bhutan are grateful to His Royal Highness Prince Namgyal Wangchuck and the Royal Government of Bhutan for such a noble initiative. Since its establishment in 1973, the Institute has transformed the lives of so many visually impaired people of Bhutan. The videos are clips from the movie Muensel which was shot in Khaling and showcase the daily life of visually impaired children in the Institute. Thank you for watching.
