‘Committing to Wind Energy’ Discuss with Experts (15/12/25) from Flying Solo Programme

What will it take to fully commit to wind energy? Explore this question with a diverse panel featuring wind-energy experts, social acceptance specialist, and an artist, and take the final opportunity to visit the 'Flying Solo' exhibition on campus. This programme is intended for anyone interested in wind energy–whether you are discovering the topic for the first time or already familiar with it. The evening offers an approachable introduction for newcomers, while also providing space for more experienced participants to engage in deeper discussion and pose challenging questions. Wind-energy enthusiasts and sceptics, environmentally minded citizens, and the full TU Delft community are warmly invited. The programme includes interactive interviews with Theo Jansen, Roland Schmehl, Iris Menger, Gerard J.W. van Bussel, and Helena Schmidt as well as Q&A sessions, moderated by science communicator Desiree Hoving in the AULA auditorium.
