After being asked to forge a sign holder, I thought making and using a farm forge from junk parts would make a good video and possibly lead into others in this series. ⬇︎⬇︎⬇︎⬇︎⬇︎⬇︎⬇︎ Click “Show More” For My Links ⬇︎⬇︎⬇︎⬇︎⬇︎⬇︎⬇︎ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ HELP BUILD OUR CHANNEL ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Check out our other videos / keepingitrielwithmarilynsteve SUBSCRIBE https://www.youtube.com/c/KeepingItRi... We’ll go over the basic parts of the forge and their purpose, as well as using your imagination to come up with ways to put it all together. We’ll also discuss the different tools you’ll need such as anvils, hammers, tongs… and how you can improvise with what you may already have. Having a forge on your homestead and knowing how to use it will not only make you more self-sufficient, it will also give you a skill that other people in your community or group may not have. This project cost me $0.00 to complete. I did use a small amount (1/2 gallon) of cheap kitty litter to show you how to make clay as an insulator if you don’t have clay naturally in your area. Later videos in this series may include making a sign holder (the original request), making blacksmith tools for your homestead and some simple projects. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ THANKS FOR WATCHING!! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ****A Note About Affiliates: This video and description may contain affiliate links to various products.
