The flooding aftermath in Dumfries after Tuesdays Flooding of the town. I made this film to show what people and businesses have to go through when the the river Nith is allowed to flood. It is soul destroying to see this happening to people premisses livelyhoods and lives. An increasing number of people are asking why this continual flooding should and could be stopped once and for all.Although there were some flood prevention measures put in place a number of people that were flooded said some of them failed. The flooding closes one of the towns major roads causing major traffic problems. It also disrupts emergency services on route to our local hospital.
