Train from Keon Park to Flinders St 1974. This magnificent 8mm film was shot by Marco Laudani during his later school years, Marco went on to broadcast / production editor/ cameraman / TD. The film includes Keon Park to Flinders St by train and has Spencer St station & the yards view - he managed to go to L2 and film a bit there. Then back towards home via a stop at Regent station . Keon Park was unchanged for years but you can see the old car park & bit more of the area and Victoria Park. After Marco uploaded this footage on the Railways in Victoria.. Past and Present Facebook group, I asked if I could make a music video using his film, Marco kindly agreed. Marco suggested the fitting Scorpions 1976 song ‘Catch Your Train’ then I took screenshots of Marco’s footage and added a guitar cover of Gordon Lightfoot’s 1974 ‘Sundown’ by Scott Pettipas and ending with Status Quo’s 1972 ‘Roll Over Lay Down’ to finish.
