I updated my sifter and made it a lot better. I was constantly having problems with the wires breaking on the old version. I also have to overcome the issue of the jigsaw having a small slat to which I could attach the wire. So what i did was, I took all of the wires off, and placed a piece of board underneath the screen. The piece of board insures that it pulls up in line and also it doesn't destroy the screen in this fashion. I also took the screws out of the jig saw and drilled all the way through the screw holes. Now it goes all the way through I put in a heavy duty hook. All of the wires are now replaced with chain. I added bungee cords to pull the screen down. Near the end you will hear a loud whine, that part of the video was before I put the bungee on. What's happening is the wire mesh is being pulled up and without tension stays up. When that happens the chains just bounce side to side and the wire mesh doesn't move. If you attach bungees underneath (or I imagine using a metal pipe instead of a piece of wood to weigh it down) it keeps it constantly tight. The parts of the video where the sifter is not on is the final version. The part where I'm using it, I didn't drill through the head or add in the bungee cords. Can you hear the drill get really high pitch. That's why you need the bungee, what's happening is the screen isn't heavy enough to it's staying up.
