Voting has concluded in the Federal Capital Territory Area Council elections, where residents cast their votes to choose new chairmen and councillors across six councils. With over 1.5 million registered voters participating at 2,822 polling units, the elections have seen campaigns from major political parties, including APC, PDP, and ADC. Despite some withdrawals and endorsements, security measures, including a 12-hour movement restriction, were put in place to ensure a peaceful process. As a result, sorting and collation begin.
