Adum Market is one of the busiest places in Kumasi, and experiencing it in person is something else entirely. From early morning till evening, the streets are packed with traders, shoppers, hawkers, and nonstop movement. In this video, I walk through the heart of Adum Market, capturing the raw hustle of daily life — narrow walkways, crowded shops, loud bargaining voices, and the energy that keeps Kumasi’s central business district alive. Vlogging here was not easy, especially with my daughter by my side. Moving through the heavy crowd while holding her, watching out for her safety, and trying to film at the same time was overwhelming and honestly tiring. There were moments I felt hurt and discouraged, but I pushed through to share the real experience of a mother navigating one of Kumasi’s busiest markets. I also planned to explore the Armed Forces Museum and the sacred Okomfo Anokye Sword site, but sadly, both places were not open on Sundays. I was really hurt because I was looking forward to learning more about Kumasi’s history. Still, this just means I will be visiting again. This video is not just about how busy Adum Market is — it’s about resilience, motherhood, and showing up even when it’s hard. Welcome to Adum Market — busy, chaotic, and full of life.
